What a fabulous place ( I want to keep it a secret ) If I could give White Oaks Villas Mauritius more stars I would It’s excellent , transfers / pick up on time, and helpful , villa itself well equipped, spotless ,cleaners helpful and cheery, pool wonderful , Gardens well kept, a totally relaxing couple of weeks with friends and that’s what we went for. Couple of annoying things if I had to be honest , kids large blow up toys should be banned from pool and not left in there to float around it spoils the glorious ambience of the place ....... we unfortunately picked a couple of weeks when it was school holidays in other countries so lots of babies and young children who were a bit noisy....... luckily we went exploring the island during the day and didn’t have to put up with noise for too long before they were put to bed in evening. Nitty gritty things we learnt ...... you need a car to see this amazing island ...... Not many local restaurants in area because there are lots of resorts around with tourists who eat at them as meals included, therefore there are very few restaurants in this area to eat in if you don’t want to cook for the odd night ! Be prepared to drive to Grand Baie. PoPo supermarket up the road has everything you need . You definitely can’t swim in beach at bottom but can just up a bit in resort area .( Beach towels here by the way no need to bring ) Don’t drive anywhere near Port Louis at peak times !!! Traffic believe it or not horrendous! Nothing to buy here really, tourist stuff expensive I was going to take some vanilla pods home but they were £12 ( you can by them at home for £4 ) All in all a wonderful island, fantastic relaxing stay and villa , would I come again definately but not in school holidays . Thankyou White Oaks, you were amazing and we’d be back in a heartbeat truthfully the nicest villa we’ve stayed in, it will be hard to beat, wherever we decide to go next year

White Oaks Villas are located in the end of Point Aux Biches the beach, providing a calm and relaxed location with just a few people passing by at the beach even though we spent our holidays at a busy time of the year (Christmas and New Years). All staff at the White Oaks Villas were very friendly. The questions we had before our stay were responded to promptly by e-mail. We rented a car from White Oaks during our stay, which was very convenient and worked out very well. We appreciated the food package that was available in the refrigerator when we arrived and the service with transportation to and from the airport. When we arrived some of the porcelain and cuttlery was not cleaned and the kitchen cupboard was sticky. Otherwise the cleaning fo the Villa was very good. The adults in the family found the beds hard while the teenagers found them comfortable. We found a good place for snorkelling close to the Aquarium (walking distance from the White Oaks at the beach). We had dinner at the neighbouring restaurant "Le Skipper" 2 nights and were very happy with both the food and the friendliness of the staff. The Chez Popo Supermarket offers all you need during your stay. We drove there but you can walk there within 20 minutes. There are some minimarkets closer to the White Oaks Villas if you don't have a car and don't want to walk. There was a fruit stand in walking distance (5-10 minutes) where we bought fresh fruit many times - always good quality. If we go back to Mauritius, we will certainly consider staying at White Oaks Villas again.

A small park with 12 villas, in the middle a large pool with enough sun loungers. Each villa had a sea view. We lived in villa no 7, very tastefully furnished, the beds very comfortable. We had something for breakfast in our fridge, very nice touch. 3 times a week the fishmonger came to offer us these fresh fish, the old red was excellent. the layout of the kitchen is fantastic, it lacks nothing. If we go back to Mauritius, we will come back. On the terrace with a large dining table there was insufficient light, especially if we wanted to play or read. Access is approx. 500 m from the bungalows, the large stones directly in front of the property was not favorable for entering the water. We stayed in villa 4 and it was a beautiful villa and well decorated, there were even big candles you could light in the evening. The pool was clean and really nice. The garden and the area around the pool was really nice. The gardener cleaned the BBQ every morning which was really nice. We only used one AC (master bedroom), and it worked good. The kitchen was well equipped. Private parkingspot was nice. All the staff was nice. Nice restaurant next door (Le Skipper) good food and good value for money and some nights with Sega-dance :) The complex is located in Pointe aux Biches. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the nice Trou aux Biches Beach. The view and the pool were fantastic. Location is great, but a car is very helpful, as the very good restaurants are about 2-5 km away and the nearest large supermarket is 2 km away. A car can be rented on site, which is easy and inexpensive, but we got an older model with worn tires, but it drives perfectly. We would book the accommodation again. Beach for swimming about 50 meters away and many beautiful beaches within a 20 minute drive. Cleaning times can be coordinated better, but are very friendly. Large, modern accommodation ideal for self-catering. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was a basic supply for breakfast in the fridge, as well as coffee and tea. Comfortable beds. It was cleaned every day. The complex is very quiet with a beautiful infinitipool, a magnificent view of the sea and direct access to the beach

Dear Sir or Madam, dear Anand, We wanted to write a review on the homepage, however I could not find the right way to do so. Please do not hesitate and publish what I am about to write in the following abstract: My partner and I stayed in apartment 10 B for 10 days from the end of November to the beginning of December 2013. From the second we arrived at the site until we had to leave again we experienced nothing but kindness and friendliness from all the staff and especially the site manager Anand. The apartment is very spacious and modern, as is the complete site. Everything was tidy and clean and was kept this way our entire stay. The pool makes up for the quite rocky beachfront, where swimming is only possible a few metres away at the nearby hotel. As said before our stay was made perfectly by the true first class hospitality mentality and the 24 hour service we were lucky to experience from the staff. Thank you very much for a true luxurious holiday and it will not be the last time for us to visit. Caroline from Germany As said before you are more than welcome to publish this comment on your website. Thank you again and all the best to you! Kind regards Caroline Lovell

Just a quick email to say how lovely a time we had in Villa 6! We will hopefully be back next year! Mr. Anand was a font of information, and it was nice to see his face every day with a greeting and a recommendation! The cleaner was very helpfull and super efficient! Wish I could pack her in my bag and bring her home! The security guard was also very helpfull and informative with regard to crab hunting / octopus hunting! And last but not least, the gardner was very sweet, and always had a quick smile for the kids he also ensure their splash pool on the front step was clean and full of water and we did not even ask him! Again, our sincerest thanks for a lovely stay in Mauritius! Fingers crossed we see you again in August 2014! Kindest regards Helene Harrison and Harrison clan!

We have not regretted a single moment our choice (quite the contrary). So I wanted to thank you especially for the price offer that you have given me. More Amand was the perfect host, who welcomed us with all the knowledge Mauritius. We occupied 10B. A quiet and intimate. A nice decoration. Equipment for each unit very complete or nothing was missing, every detail has been thought. The French are very used to this ... The meaning of the word service takes its full extent! A real pleasure to have discovered "by accident" your address. Anand thank you again for having the kindness to show us some vacancies which I hope will allow me to position yourself to my office with your permission of course. Again thank you for these delicious moments at White Oaks Villas Laurence DECAUX

Sent: 23 August 2012 04:27 PM Hi Gisele, Lovely to hear from you..Our stay at White Oaks was very good, The permanent community made it all the more enjoyable for our children and ourselves. The pool was excellent, clean well looked after. The villa had had everything you needed and the maid service a real treat for me having three children to run around after. No real gripes but at a push...the seating in the living room area..was not really adequate or comfortable for 6 people and certainly would not accommodate 8 persons. There were other children for our kids to play with so that made a real difference. All the staff there were friendly and helpful with advice. We didn't manage the French lessons, we were too busy chilling out! Anyway all in all a fabulous holiday. Sarin

We have in the White Oaks facility is one of the two existing apartments in the first Floor occupied. The apartment is located in the middle of the resort with direct views of the pool and the sea. The left and right are the villas, a total of 10 The apartment is very modern, large open kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with rain shower and toilet. A veranda of 30m2 with gas grill, furniture wicker chairs and table with 6 seats, rounded out the class offerings. The front porch could be closed completely with glass doors. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, 4 hotplates, oven, sink, kettle, toaster, washing machine, microwave, huge fridge. All rooms are equipped with fans, + Deck, the bedrooms with a modern, quiet air conditioning.

It was made for the beach towels are available, based on our 10 day stay we were provided with a welcome pack of bread, sausage, cheese, coffee, oil and sugar as well as in the bathroom with shower gel, soap and shampoo. There was a daily maid service, towels and bedding 2-3x a week were replaced. However, we have again found that only an initial supply of toilet paper is included!

The plant had sun loungers by the pool and beach, and sun umbrellas. All in good condition. However, could the full usage of the entire system in our opinion be lying there for too little. The beach is not suitable for swimming because of the many stones and go to shallow water and you have 300 meters to the next opportunity for a sea bath. The pool is beautiful and good for swimming.

We were the only Europeans in the plant, which seems to be booked 90% of South Africans. At the time of our stay there were several families in the villas, the resort was booked but only about 50-60%. Everything was very quiet.

The manager was every day in the road system and has all the guests to try and fix their well-being also the same problems.

In our opinion, a very nice facility, with a very attentive manager.

The plant itself is finished and posted. The individual houses are grouped around the infinity pool (natural stone). We have lived in the duplex 9A directly on the beach: Very spacious living area with open (and very well equipped) kitchen. Fold the glass door to the terrace elements and push away. Toilet and storage room on same level. Upstairs two air conditioned bedrooms with separate bathrooms. Each floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the sea. The house is cleaned daily, towels and linen changed several times. Above-average features. It feels like home, even a gas grill Weeber (Q) stands on the terrace. The manager is extremely helpful and friendly. Small "problems" be fixed immediately. Shopping facilities are nearby (supermarket Popo) or abundant in Grand Baie.

Our family recently stayed here after searching the internet for self catering accommodation and finally came across White Oaks., which as its website describes is indeed 'the jewel of the North'. The accommodation is perfect if you have older children when space & privacy is important, our apartment was exactly as the photos along with a terrific view . We had daily maid service which further enhanced our stay. Dev the manager was extremely helpful with directions, and info on excursions and ha

Stayed here with our friends 4 up in a 3 bedroom villa. Very comfortable and serviced every day, even on one of Mauritius's bigger public holidays! The kitchen was superbly kitted out, our fridge even had an ice dispenser.... most important for those long ice cold sundowners. The manager was friendly and always ready to assist us. The best of all was the private beach next to the pool where we spent many an afternoon watching the sun set...... One of the best relaxing holidays I've ever had.

Our family, including two babies, had a wonderful stay at White Oaks! The villa was well equipped and so easy to do self catering although we did enjoy the cuisine in restaurants too. The positioning of our villa was superb with a deck overlooking the the beach where we could sit and enjoy morning coffee or sundowners, or read a book while lying in the hammock. The loungers at the pool area were also inviting and the setting is beautiful. We hired a car and explored at Grand Baie and Port Louis.
